Overview
Just as every workforce is varied in terms of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, race, religion, status, equally important is acknowledging the variation in how each individual thinks, feels, senses, and experiences the world around them. Some of the most impressive inventions and innovations have occurred because of this variation in how individuals think.
Within any neurodiverse workforce you will have a blend of individuals who are neurotypical and neurodivergent. The complicating factor is your own mind may be going to a place of questioning: how do I know the difference?
Tara Langan, Course Author
This course gives you an opportunity to hear directly from neurodivergent individuals, gaining valuable insights and perspectives across four user-friendly modules.
- Understanding Neurodiversity
- Tailoring Performance Strategies
- Embracing Inclusive Hiring Practices
- Navigating the Path to Neuroinclusion
Importantly, each module includes "Back to Work Brain Bite" exercises that you can bring back to your teams, fostering productive discussions within your workplace.
"Neurodiversity is the future of innovation and progress."

Tara Langan
Tara Langan has extensive experience in human resources supporting leadership in municipal, provincial government and in the private sector.
Most recently, Tara has pioneered raising awareness about neurodiversity in the workplace through active consultation and facilitation with small to mid size organizations. She took the stage at Disrupt HR in May 2023 inviting organizations to heavily reconsider their bias towards "fit" in today's competitive labor market.
With emerging trends of 1 in 5 employees in every workplace being neurodivergent, Tara meets every organization where they are and partners with them to create cultures where all can thrive. Her facilitation is engaging, includes real lived experience as someone who is neurodivergent and is competency based. Tara also associates with a local community of practice where she is able to bring diverse perspectives/inputs to her clients.
